These two teenage Mormon brothers, Joe and Rob, went out playing a few almost-innocent pranks on a Saturday night. They got caught, however, and taken in to the jailhouse. The warden was a friend of their father, and called him.

The warden described the situation to the father. "We usually keep people in for 24 hours for this, but I'll let you come on and get them."

The father said, "No, I'll leave them there for now."

"But don't you want them in church tomorrow?" the Warden asked.

"I want them to learn their lesson this time," the father replied.

The next morning, Joe and Rob couldn't believe their father hadn't come to get them. "We're going to miss all our meetings," Rob, the youngest, said.

"But nothing's going to stop us from having our own little meeting here, will it?" Joe said. "How 'bout this: I'll be in charge of the meeting and I'll give a talk. You can give the opening prayer."

A few minutes later the warden came around the corner and heard, we're thankful to be here today. We love this beautiful building, and please help those who aren't here today that they can be here next week....."

Organized religion has taken a turn for the worst. Just the other day I drove by The Church of the Seven or So Commandments: Pastor Bill Clinton and the Reverend O.J. Simpson.
